| The team behind last yearʼs one-day music event on Folkestone Seafront return this summer with their first full weekend festival. The Hevy Music Festival 2010 take place at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park on the 6th-8th August 2010. The festival will feature 4 stages of great bands, live extreme sports displays and the UKʼs most exhilarating thrill-rides. Bands announced - Gallows, The Subways, Sepultura, Rolo Tomassi, Napalm Death, Polar Bear Club, Dead Swans, Lower Than Atlantis and Feed The Rhino. The Star, Ashford will be holding a charity day in aid of the Pilgrims Hospice on Saturday July 24th. Newsflash
"Thanks to all the bands who have offered to help, we now have more than enough acts to cover the day, you will be contacted soon to discuss a timeslot. " Music will be running from approximately 12pm – 12am.
They are also looking for Childrens entertainers throughout the day too and there will be a big raffle so are also on the scrounge for prizes. Thank you.. |
