Turmoil were formed in July 2005 from the ashes of several local bands, with Lewie and G achieving limited success in the band Croy. The intention was to create a band playing the sort of music we had a passion for and establish ourselves as one of the best cover bands in the area and to build on that reputation. Our first public outing was the SAGA Battle of The Bands in September 2005. Our first gig proper was at The Harp Club, Folkestone in December 2005. We have since played over 80 gigs in and around Kent.
Our music covers bands as diverse as Blink182, Green Day, Stereophonics, Oasis, Feeder, Razorlight, Snow Patrol, Pink Floyd, Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana, Pearl Jam...basically good time rock n roll at its finest!! We have recorded an EP including 3 tracks: Dakota (Stereophonics), Buck Rogers (Feeder) and American Idiot (Green Day). You can also hear these online at:
