Formed in September of 2000 and playing live by October 2000 the first 6 months were spent playing under the name NIL BY MOUTH until it was discovered there was at least 2 other bands with the same name. With SURGERY WITHOUT RESEARCH agreed upon as the new name we began to record the songs from our set. The 17 track album entitled ‘PLEASE DADDY GIVE ME A GUN’ was released in March 2003 on ‘research & destroy records’.
