Led By Zeppelin are easily the most authentic tribute band you will ever see. Vocalist Marc Eden looks and sounds like a young Robert Plant and has auditioned for Slash’s post Guns N Roses project, Velvet Revolver….so great is his voice that Slash proclaimed him to be ‘one of the greatest rock and roll vocalists I have ever worked with’. The band’s drummer, Ray Whisker plays the John Bonham role with the same powerhouse drumming and leadership which made John Bonham irreplaceable. He also of course has the ‘three circle’ symbol on his drums. Iain Paul Cobby who plays bass, keyboards, mandolin and acoustic guitar, is an all round musician who has easily settled into the John Paul Jones role. Finally, guitarist Paul Lawrence plays a signature Jimmy Page Gibson Les Paul, acoustic and double neck guitars, Fender Telecaster with B-Bender, mandolin, and of course wields the ubiquitous violin bow and theremin.
The band pride themselves around being authentic in dress, looks and sound, and many versions of tracks are based around Zeppelin live performances as well as studio versions. |
