The Band 'Immune to Conventional Weapons' (i2cw) originally formed in October of 2000. The initial line-up featured a funk-rock outlook from a guitar-based 5 piece. Debuting at 'Vacancy' in the summer of 2001, i2cw received an excellent crowd response and later review in Making Music Magazine - the music, an interesting mix of funk-rock and psychedelic sonic textures.
The band continues to gig and produce new and different soundscapes. Gradually moving slightly further away from the funky sounds previously produced; a more organic rock sound has evolved. New vocalist Adam Highwood joined in January 2004 completing the current four piece.
We are still in the process of producing diverse and innovative material.
Our music isn't necessarily controversial or different; it is just not limited by genre. Of course we have our own style and our music does encapsulate this in many ways. Whatever music we play it will sound like i2cw.
