Elbert Felc formed in the summer of 2000, When friends Paul Watts and Gary Inge found that they shared a mutual love for pop/rock music. After frequent jamming session's at secondry school they decided to form a band, including their three school friends, Chloe Easton Lee Hoyle & Mark Christian.
As a band Elbert Felc were influenced by many genres of music more heavily by the rock/pop scene. Their original material brings all their influences together, Chloe's powerful soulful voice along side Lee's telling vocal performances, backed up by Paul's classic rock influenced guitar style and Mark and Matt's punching rhythm section.
The band started out playing the pubs and clubs through out the South East of England building up a following and putting on energetic performance's.
The years between 2004 - 2006 were busy for the band performing at more than 200 live shows. Through out this time the band were in and out of the studio putting together their first studio recording.
After months of anticipation the summer of 2007 saw the release of Bring IT! The E.P consisted of 7 tracks (Produced and engineered by guitarist Paul and then manager Phil Wilson),tracks such as the hard hitting rock track Stuck on You, the energetic sound of My Life and the moving ballad Stop Playing Games which featured the amazing pianist skills of session musician Graham Podesta. The E.P came with rip roaring success. Along side the recording was the video release for Stuck on You and BBC Kent gave My Life radio airplay
The Summer of 2008 saw the departure of drummer Gary Inge who was to be replaced by the groups old school friend Matt Taylor who was at the time playing the pub/club circuit with a number of bands. As chance would have it Elbert Felc managed to bag him as a full time replacement drummer and haven't looked back since.
New material is always being written by the band and 2010 is set to be the year Elbert Felc go back in the studio to record their first full album.
Elbert Felc always gives 110% in their performances and you can be guaranteed to see an electric show.
