Earl Green and The Right Time
blues |
Earl Green is the premier blues voice in the UK. Digital Blues voted him best UK Male vocal in 2004. He has been twice voted best vocalist by the British Blues Connection. Blues DJ Paul Jones – and member of Manfred Man and the Blues Band – described him as delivering "great vocal performances." Juke Blues magazine wrote - "There’s surely no more soulful singer than Earl Green in this country."
The Right Time band is a small but powerful unit providing the perfect platform for Earl's dynamic voice. They play with subtlety but also with a fire in their bellies and includes veterans of the London blues scene Les Back (slide guitar) and Ron Warshow (guitar), Mike Paice (Sax), Tim Connell (bass) and ex Paul Lamb drummer Daniel Strittmatter. Sets cover blues evergreens like Muddy Waters' Hoochie Coochie Man to the obscure Percy Mayfield classic Danger Zone. |
