DRG play a mix jazz, funk and fusion. Half of the band is made up Christ Church University music teachers, whom are all share a passion for fusion. Each member is very busy with other outfits, such as Michael Ball, Michael Nyman Band, EK1, Waterhorse, so getting this line-up together is a rare and wonderful thing. The band plays a mix of originals and covers from artists such as Mike Stern, Pat Metheny, Miles Davis and John Scofield. If you like jazz with a bit more attitude, then you'll enjoy this band.
