You know when you see an advert and you think: "Oh, what's the name of that song"? And it bugs you for bloody ages 'cos you can't quite place the song/artiste? This place allows you to find out exactly what it is you're looking for.

There's a company called Shazam which will identify any (they say) song you ask them. You dial 2580, hold up the phone fairly near the music source and normally within a few seconds, they'll send you the name of the song and I think, the artist too.

It's never failed me yet. Mind you, it's £1 a time!

I accidentally phoned them a while back while I was having a really hideous shit. I got a text whilst I was wiping my arse saying "I'd sit back down if I was you". I was in a hurry though, and now I'm banned from Netwotk SouthEast. Yell

I`ve got that facility on my phone...Gracenote do it, the same people that Creative Labs use. Don`t know what it costs though. I`m on contract.
