What I meant by consult is that they (council folk etc) just panic and react without thinking it, without gauging perspective or opinion. It happens every year around Christmas regarding some town and their decorations. I don't think the effect of political correctness spurns from anyone except people that panic and don't think.
I think this chap does have some good points in previous videos, but this one comes over really badly, which is unfortunate as it makes him seem really quite self righteous.
The moan about the guy suing because of having to serve alcohol was really stupid, as that kind of thing happens all over the world every day. We live in a world these days that seems to lack in personal liability, as a society, we're apparently much happier to point fingers for a quick buck. Thats quite like the PC thing, its not just a muslim thing at all. |

No problem dude... I can delete those comments if it's a mistake. As I've said, i've got no response from those people for "legal" reasons. Scary thing is that one of them is a long time customer of mine, and although I don't know him personally, I don't know what he'd benefit by lying. I'm sure its just one big mistake.

It's obvious that these laws, which come from religious teachings, are written by people to justify doing some pretty horrible things. The law that says a girl becomes a women when she reaches puberty is sick. That can happen to girls as young as 12 and sometimes younger. They are still kids. The sort of person who would want to marry a child and consummate the marriage is of the Gary Glitter variety. Now, when someone like that has the power to write the laws of religion and claim "God said it's OK", well you can see where this is going. They can claim any opinion or fantasy they may have has the approval of God, and is therefore OK and encouraged. Getting over their own personal guilt will be easy enough for them. I'm with Dman on this one. British law needs to protect the rights and freedoms of all people living in the UK, and must super-cede any law that a persons' religion might impose on them. Especially laws such as Sharia Law, that permit stoning your wife to death for an alleged crime that does not even need to be proven in a court for the man to carry out his execution. |
