Hi Milffy hows you? dude I havr been wondering if you were gonig to answer me regarding joining our originals band?..I sent you a couple of tracks but got no comment back or anything. The band is really picking up..some great tracks coming along, very similar to Bleached really bit heavier maybe but have still got a solid commercial edge. we are still in the process of looknig for a good drummer and in my opinion your one of the best out there, so if you fancy meeting up one day/night with the band asnd chatting and listening to what wil lbe the album..let me know mate. not at all over the hill dude, just not gonna have as much in common with a group of 20 somethings as anopther 20 something is!
don't get me wrong I'm not saying anyone is too old, or too young to do what we all do here, sod it, I'll still be playing when i'm in a home wearing bunny slippers ( it won't be anything recognisable, but fuck em!) I'm just saying i want to play in a band with people close to my own age |

The whole age thing seems to be putting a bit of a downer on this ad... I'm a 20 year old (just under your age threshold) lead guitarist with the ability to do lead or backing vocals . I've got decent gear/transport/P.A if required/lights etc. I've been playing for the best part of 10 years now and I'm not afraid to say that I'm pretty good, and could easily do what you require from a guitarist. Unfortunately I'm just not interested!
Seriously if the bands mainly about having "fun", it should be more about getting decent people onboard... Their musicianship obviously needs to be of a certain standard but you may want to broaden your horizons a bit. I was in a Brighton band a year or so ago, with a bass player aged somewhere between 40 and 50 and he was fuckin awesome and a nice guy with it. That was just for fun, and fun was exactly what was had by all. You may benefit from giving the younger and older guys a chance

meh got lead as i mentioned earlier, only waiting on a drummer, with a few in the pipeline, I've got the type of musicians i wanted, in the age braket i wanted, all is good |
