of starting a band to go along with my solo stuff, keep myself busy, that sorta thing...... I'd be looking for a bassist, a drummer and a lead guitarist, primarily as a recording project, though hopefully gigworthy if it starts looking good I'm not after ultra heavy commitment to begin with, just some people that wanna make some music and have some fun influence wise I'm looking to make something expressive think jimmy eat world-meets-weezer while being spanked by mike patton |

Just out of interest dude, why the age restriction? By the way, best of luck with it. You've got some solid ideas and it would be good to hear you fronting a heavier outfit as I think it'll bring your voice out more. |

cheers man, I'm hoping it'll all come good only reason for age restriction is i like people to be on my level, and thats not to say people under that age would be, but its a safe bet over that age will be, can't ever know for sure, but we can but try I'll bee keeping everyone informed! |

I can see your point dude. I went for years thinking that age didn't matter but it can impact on the social side of things quite heavily. Having said that, ther are some phenomenal players out there just below your set limit and it would be a shame if you missed out on that collaboration. It's all good. |

indeedy, still need lead guitar and drums but not looking to really get rolling til mid to late september... so hopefully that'll give enough time to fill the vacancies! |

Hi Tobe, I think the slightly vague title of the thread may be detering people from reading it. It may pay dividends to start a new thread requesting specific musicians and giving a solid indication of musical direction, commitment required. |
