It couldn't be more perfect. Frinton radio is haunted by Kenny Everett!
FRINTON: RADIO STATION HAUNTED BY DEAD DJFrom the archive, first published Wednesday 29th Jun 2005. Former pop pirate radio DJ Kenny Everett has been haunting his old radio station from beyond the grave. Or so say staff at Radio London - whose relaunch has been surrounded by a series of unexplained phenomena. Kenny Everett, one of the station's original DJs, who died in 1995, had a reputation for beeing a practical joker. Night staff at the Frinton-based station have experienced: Kettles switching on and refusing to switch off Sudden chills and freezes Tape decks and other audio equipment spontaneously turning on and off Mild electric shocks and circuit shorts Items flying across the room and dropping off shelves for no apparent reason. The station's own resident psychic, Susie Quenelle, claims she is getting psychic communications from the spirit presence. Although she is sure the spirit is not malicious, the other staff at the sudios in Connaught Avenue are not too sure. "If the scanner can save one other child, it would be worth it." |

I believe it was originally slated for the 2nd of July if memory serves but there was the usual flakiness and I decided not to go alone as it would be.................pointless........ |

Yea, I chose to pull out early on because I didn't want my dream of Frinton to be ruined. But a big part of me new it wasn't gonna happen as well... |

Well I did all I could to make it happen. Made myself and my car available, sent all teh emails, etc, etc but if people can't be bothered to even reply then there's not much else I could do ereally. seems a shame but I guess that's people for ya! |
