Hello matey.

Listen, some time back I asked if you would have a flick through my book for me?  I'd be very interested in your opinion.  I've had about 15 different people from all walks of life have a read of it, because I wanted to get a good set of opinions that I could digest, and make changes where needed.

But so far, the feedback has been 100% positive.  A couple of guys from here (Kam, Lara) have read it and enjoyed it a lot.

I've finally written a synopsis (which took me about 3 bloody years to write, lol!), have my agents letters to send, and a big list of contacts.

Before that, I would like you to have a read, though.  I have three other people also reading it, currently.

Would that be do-able? I understand the time involved, and don't mind if you are too busy at the moment.

I'd be more than happy to do that.  I've got stacks of time on my hands at the moment.  We could meet up somewhere bizarre like a quiet pub in Capel, or the pensioners' cafe on Langdon Cliffs, for the hand-over.

I have a favour to ask of you, too, so it will be a fair trade.

Ok...I'm busy all this bloody week.  Next week, Monday in the day is perfect for me, though.

Capel, you say?  There is the Checkers (sp) inn, but i'm not sure if that's still open?  Ooo! If its nice weather, lets have a cuppa on that cafe that looks over the Warren.  How about that?

Ooo! If its nice weather, lets have a cuppa on that cafe that looks over the Warren.  How about that? 

Sorry to poke my nose in, chaps. Yeah, go to the cliff top cafe - it's an absolutely magnificent place. I used to frequent it when  walking my dog down the warren. After climbing those bloody steps you need some kind of refreshment. I used to have a cup of tea and my poochie would have a bowl of cold water.

If you're coming from Dover/Deal or that area it's before the Valiant Sailor. It's actually The Old Dover Road - the little turn off that takes you (seemingly) along the cliff edge. There's some gorgeous houses along there.

You can't miss the cafe, it's signposted.

Bryan, i've had an offer to go on a free teachers training course type thing tomorrow (just an introduction) through the KKC, and am going to take it I think.

Can we put off until next Monday?
