I am looking to get a usb or firewire based jack input so I can use my MAC as a little digi-recorded station.

So long as there are 2 inputs i can tail off the mixer and record in stereo, that is the dream that haunts me at night. Alas, she proclaimed as she spilt her monthly tidings, does anyone know of a device that; a) doesn't cause my wife to say "How fucking much? you keep promising to buy the kids food this week", or b) doesn't output in stereo and is basically a load of tarnished pants as a relish to your burger,

I have tossed my drag-net into the inter-web but can't really find what it is I want, perhaps my fat finger syndrome is causing me to mistype.
