I don't see where anyone disengaged their brains to disregard the truth here, and certainly not to annoy / upset anyone... sureley opinion of wether something is good or not is completley relative? I dislike this advert, not only beacause i think the song is utter tosh and I think they've got some utter cockdribbles in the ad ( especially the blonde lass, annoys me with her steps stylee air guitar) and finally because I fail to see how rockstar ties in with selling sofas at discount... the ad men have done their job coz its got all of us talking about it.... that doesn't make it any less wank in my opinion, and that does make it any less the truth coz its all about opinion Edited: Tobyjames7 - Mon 14 Jul 2008 (5:14PM) |

I dislike the band, but I positively detest that bloody song. My youngest girl went through a fad of putting it on repeat play on her CD - until I invented a rule whereby fathers who were driven to distraction because of their offspring's loathesome taste in music had the legal right to suspend all pocket money until said offspring came around to our way of thinking. It has been a 'Rockstar' free Spike Towers since then. |

icon i usually think you come in just at the right time with a level-headed opinion but not this time. are you saying that people can't just say a song is shit based on an unbalanced combo of old-prejudices of the band, genre loyality and good old-fashioned gut feeling? because i think that's rock and roll my friend |
