Yeah - we have. It's pretty good. 5 hours seems quite a long time to draw it out though. However, so far so good.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I can't quite see how they're going to fill another 3 hours but I guess we shall see. So, do you think he did it?!

Hmmm.

On the whole I don't think so. He definitely has the air of one who doesn't even know.  Speaking from experience, if something major happened at my own hands, the moment it would be mentioned I'd remember. (my own experience  = like falling in a bush or something! Laughing)

No, at the moment, I think he's very bemused, scared/nervous and has no idea what happened.

Haha, yes, I know exactly what you mean by suddenly remembering something you had forgotten the moment it is mentioned. I too have had many drunk moments like that - lots of which I wish had stayed forgotten! ;-) I am so pleased he didn't cut the deal and plead guilty to manslaughter though. I'm really torn as to whether he did it or not. I'm hoping he didn't because he does genuinely seem innocent & scared like you say but I'm wondering if the twist will be that he did and in fact it was very calculated on his part. Hmm, I just don't know? I physically gagged at the scene where he swallowed what that other inmates mother had smuggled in though - ewwww!

I'm beginning to think that the young policeman who found the body has a little more to do with it than meets the eye. He's supposed to be trained in that sort of thing and yet he starts vomiting after seeing what appears to be a small hole in the lady's chest (a lot of blood for such a small wound). Granted, there may have been many other horrific injuries that we didn't see, but as viewers we can only react to what we're shown.
Maybe the murderer is the policeman himself? The vomiting was a result of him seeing just what he'd done to her?

Either way I've quite enjoyed it all so far. It'll be interesting to see how it all pans out come the conclusion on Friday.

It's starting to feel too long.

I'm still finding it gripping.

It's doing a good job of conveying how complex and clearly frustrating the system is. It seems very unfair that people are compelled to 'play the game' to get a result rather than tell the truth. Very telling I suspect. Also shows what scary places prisons can be - although has that been exaggerated maybe?

The criminal justice real people are up in arms about how they are being portrayed.  Radio 4 told me this morning on Today.

I think the music is brilliant for atmosphere at times.

I'm on Pimms in the evening at the moment.  I rarely drink, so one glass does my nut in.  Maybe that's why it seems a bit long.

Well, well! Tonight's was certainly compelling viewing (for me anyway). I thought they'd got it when they accused the father but ... apparently not! Can't wait for the concluding episode. Although some aspects have been somewhat inaccurate, what a great programme this has been in my opinion!

Yes...can't wait for tomorrow's conclusion. The sense of frustration is growing. Did he do it or not? We learnt a bit more about him tonight like dropping out of uni. But he still just seems to want to tell the truth yet he can't trust anyone. Even his mum thinks he probably did it Sob

Hope he doesn't revisit Nathan B and chuck himself out of the window.

First time on here since watching the finale. Well well well, that was pretty damn good! Can't believe Listener committed suicide though :-( And I know it's wrong to but I couldn't help but actually almost like the black inmate (can't remember his name now) that "ran" things inside! A thoroughly enjoyable drama in my opinion. :-)

I have to say I was disappointed in the end.  All that time viwing for what became a bent cop saga... Thought the ending was really dull.
