Andy Doble has been plagued with an ear infection for about three weeks and only managed to hear himself by wedging a 20p piece in his left ear.  (I had no idea what he was doing!).  I thought he was going to fall over - he wasn't quite with it - so I kept a brotherly eye on him.

Maybe it is the same ear/throat infection I had that makes you deaf and croaky? I am only just hearing properly after about 2 months. Was great for ignoring the kids though Laughing
