I think the first problem I had with religion.... well Christianity was when I was quite young and a pet died. I asked if animals went to heaven. I was told they didn't. Maybe there's an animal heaven I was told. But can't be sure. The overall veiw was Isn't one and don't really care.

God made man in his own image etc... It's just an extension of the ego really. So I guess the worship of mankind is mostly accurate. This god seems to rule the universe but is only concerned with us. Always seemed a bit odd to me.
