In 5 years time I'd like to be a bit slimmer, too. That way I could go swimming without worrying if Captain Ahab is going to start throwing spears at me again. Although I shall probaly end up like that guy on TV the other night, the 73 stone bloke. |

Dud, it is more than aesthetics that are a concern to some people. I am a big bloke (19st 4) and need to sort my health out. I have two younger children to think of and like I say, I am starting to realise that grandkids are not that far off and I want to be around for them. It is not just a case of happiness or appeal to the opposite sex. Being overweight can mess with your mortality too.I have quit booze and ciggies and just need to sort diet and excerise out. I would be happy to be 15 stone in 5 years. Even that would be better than how I am now. I am getting too slow, too quick for my liking. Cyn, I have a nice sunburst Epiphone 355 for sale. |

Yeah, it's the health thing with me, too. I joke about it but it does worry me a bit. I've cut out all fried foods and red meat etc, and I eat loads of fruit and veg, plus I get a fair bit of exercise with walking my old poochie two or three times a day, so I'm hoping for a more streamlined Spike in the near future. |
