Hmm...

O.K, I like to keep as fit as possible.  My G/F purchased a copy of this, and to be honest, I thought it was going to be a gimmick.

After using it for the past week, I am very suprised at how inventive and forward thinking it actually is.

It measures your weight/height ratio.  Then you have to stand on it for a bit, and it telles you exactly where your body ratio is aligned.  Once it has this statistics, it goes ahead and creates a plan for you.

It's all fun.  There are loads of different excercises.  Cardio, muscle building (it's not just for losing weight.  You can adjust your programme to put on weight through muscle, also) and balance stuff.  Some of the ways you interact with the excercises are genius, and it really does push you.

I'm really impressed, and didnt think I would be.  For people that can't get out and train too much, this is ideal.  Also for people that dont have money for expensive gym memberships.

Definatly recommend it.

We have got the Wii fit and it is brilliant.  It's also great family fun, so all four of us are getting fit as a family (whist having laughing fits at others trying to do soem of the balance games!!)

I have heard that the Wii Fit may have downloads in future of extra games and activities, so you don't get bored of the same things....

I love the Wii - every home should have one!!

Yea, Jenny, it's great!

The range of pushups gets me.  I really need to work on them.

I've just started the whole yoga routine, and it's proving to be harder than the other stuff.  I thought I was quite flexible, but obviously not.

It's those bloody pandas that get me!!!!  I like the one where you have to get the balls in the whole - not a good game if you've had a few to drink tho........

I can't do the push up ones - I'm such a weaking!!!!  Jogging fun - i like the warning "slow down you may injure yourself"  How in the hell it is know that i've just stood on the cat and run into the friggin coffee table!!!

Righto, about a month in, and I got about 12 sessions in those 30 days.

I managed to put on the four pounds I set for myself via the plaza at the start.  Going for another four over the next month.

Unlocked everything now (apart from the aerobic stuff other than the boxing. I dont do the running, steps, etc.)

Some of the later yoga moves are a pain.

The muscle stuff is pretty easy, apart from the push ups.  They make you do them really narrow.  Im used to doing wide push ups that effect the chest, rather than the arms.  These do the arms only, and it bloody hurts.  I can manage 14, where I can easily do 30+ with the wider ones.  The good thing about it though is that you can challenge your trainer, which kinda keeps you motivated.  Also, having someone else that does it keeps you motivated as well.

Still love the balance games.  I dont really do the tightrope or the ball game one, though.  I love Zazen, because it gets me back into meditating.  I normally do that...fart...which blows out the candle, and then do a proper meditation session after...

A month in, and it's still great.  Cant wait for the downloadable content, and to see what other plans they have for this board.

I'll check in in another month...I'm going to have to up everything to double what i'm doing by then.

Oh man, I had better steer cleer of it then or my genuine 38 might appear as 26!!!Grin

I've let myself go to the tune of 13 stone.....and most of that is rampant ego.......Laughing

Is that it, it you spend the £70 you're ready to go or do you need a "base station" and other stuff.

I've never played or desired to play a Gameboy, Xbox, PlayStation or any other games console, so I have absolutely  idea how they work.  But this Wii fit could be the one that gets me to make the techological entertainment leap.

Cheers for that.

Is it kind, does it sugar coat things and spare your feelings or does it shout at you: "Oi lard arse, you could do with skipping a few dinners! Now get off me you fat fuck.  I hope you've still got the receipt coz you could have a heart attack any second now. Have you got a will?"
