Gave my guitar back today to get a strap button put on it.  

Just realised I need it for tomorrow, as I'm recording Little Love Notes, The Most Romantic Songs and Sheltered Shrubs for the "Blood, Sweat and Tears; Nine Minutes With Jim".  

I also can't pick it up on Saturday because I'll be cricketing it up hopefully!

This song will probably not be used now....not yet at least, for a while...

 d'you sometimes think you know someone to well to appreciate their music just at face value? like i know the deal with the history of this song, so it's almost tainted? i dunno d'you ever find that with my creative writing james?

although i spose i rarely write about things in my life now.

I think it kind of helps...

A bit of back story helps, this song probably means nothing otherwise really....not knowing me probably means that other lines in other songs make absolutely no sense.  

But I prefer that.  Pop music is too general.  When you're so general about everything, a song starts meaning something to everyone, and whats special about that, really?   This song is about me and a girl called Amy that I really like, people might relate to it but thats going to be strongest anyone feels about, other people that know me might get a sympathy or empathy feeling out of it...

On the other hand, I hope it doesn't stop you being critical about it because you know me so well.  I can take the abuse, honest guvnor...  

It kind of makes you think that the only people that really like your stuff are people that know you...a constant worry for me, trust me.
