Hi All. I'm getting back into the whole gig booking thang and have found that a lot of my old contacts have dried up. One in particular is the Stripes Club (Folkestone) as they no longer have band nights down there. What's sad about this is that it was one of the few venues I know where under 18s could get in. It's always good to bring your music to a wider audience and that age group can be very into their bands in a way you sometimes don't have time when you get older and weighed down with the reponsibilities of life! So, what Kent venues do people know of that allow under 18s? I can only think of the Oast House at Rainham. The Purple Bar - or I think it's called Cooper's Bar now - in Greenwich Uni's Chatham Campus do under 18 band and DJ nights once a month. |

Theo currently another promoter I'm going to be working with has the cds that will more suit his shows. I'm gonna meet up with him next week to book a few shows in this summer so if he's happy he'll contact you. |
