The Gig Guide on behalf of legendary band Status Quo are running a competition for two lucky people to see the band live and meet them as well! The band will be rockin' all over Rochester Castle on Friday 18th July as part of the 'Castle Concerts' series of events staged by Medway Council. If you would like to enter, all you have to do is tell us why you would love to meet Status Quo (in no more than 25 words) and the best will be chosen. Entries can be sent to dan.kirkness@gc-publishing.co.uk The winners will be notified a week before the event. Please make sure you can make the gig on the 18th! Get those babysitters on standby! Unfortunatly, yes. I remember a few years ago, I was in the pub and they came on the T.V. They were wearing suits, rather than their typical jeans and t-shirt. Some bloke next to me said: "This aint right. Somethings up here. Status Quo, NEVER wear suits." At which point, they ripped these suits off, only to have their trademark jeans and t-shirt hidden beneath. He said: "Ha! I KNEW it! You will NEVER see Status Quo sell out to the man!" About thirty minutes later, I finished my rant. |
