That face doesn't make a full run, whatever, Matt! At boarding school, we used to do bed runs up and down the dormitories. 15 beds up on the LHS. 15 beds down on the RHS. Our mummies and daddies were off ordering mehmsahbs around and generally running the Raj. If you were caught doing bed runs, matron reported you to your housemaster. You were kept waiting in a corridor for a couple of hours. Then Major Dominy would take out a long cane and bash you round the arse six times. He used to put on his cape and mortar board when he did this. You would whimper, and you would run straight to the bath-house to show your dorm pals your red buttocks. Eventually when you celebrated the hiya! of your first pubic hair, you stopped doing bed runs, picked up an older boy's guitar and worked out how to play Stairway To Heaven. This took three years on average. You also kept your bottom to yourself. This is all true. The name isn't disguised. |
