Well it started last Wednesday but kind of new Fortnightly on Wednesdays from 8:30 pm to 10:30 pm - membership is not required on open mike nights. The next one is on the 16th of April For more details, the club phone number is 01303 812437 The address is 69 Swan Lane, Sellindge TN25 6HB Normal club opening times are:Wednesday - Saturday 7pm - 11pm, and Saturday and Sunday 12 -2 pm |

arrrgh really sorry dave, I really want to make it to one, but life just not giving me an option at the mo, I had to cancel a gig this weekend coz of some problems, and so can't come to this either

Cheers for the interest Hans. Got a feeling the little event taking place at Stamford Bridge might thin the attendance as well Its a shame 'cos The club is a perfect venue for this sort of thing, and my muso pals have been pitching in to help out, but the interest from the village itself has been pretty apathetic, and without that we're a bit stuffed - I have a sinking feeling they'd be better off running (Spit) Karaoke. Oh well one last fling of the dice tonight, and on the plus side its been a refresher for me on accompanying meself, after years of having proper musicians bailing me out |

Well we're giving it another go as enough of my pals turned up to the last one to make it worthwhile (course whether they are still my pals, having been subjected to my singing, is debatable The next one will be May 14th and the thing is still on probation - one thought is we might cut it back to monthly. Next one is this Wednesday - After that we're dropping it to monthly, probably the second Wednesday of each month, as there isn't enough interest in it to warrant running it fortnightly. |
