Best line up they have had for years!

Supporting new music is all good and well, but it's hard to give a shit when it's crap.  And anyway, there are LOADS of up and coming bands (and indie la la la tight jean floppy haired look at me look at me pete doherty all bout the music maaaaaaaannnn, shite) playing.

Look in the radio one tent.  Oh, and do the rest of us a favour and stay there.

The 90's was by far the best decade for music for me (personally, my opinion) Such diversity in everything that was coming out over here AND the states...

I challenge anyone here not to be impressed by Rage, live.  You cant just stand there...

Metallica.  I used to be a fan, but not these days.  But would i want to see them live?  Damn straight! Just for the NOISE and the intensity of it!

Same with Slipknot.  Another band that get the crowd going.

Tenacious D.  Oh, come on.  Is there anything as entertaining as these lads out there at the moment!?

The raconteours are brilliant.

I dont like the manics, never did.

Biffy Clyro, good live.

We all know how good Queens are live.

Yea...it's a bloody good line-up I think.  Something for everyone.  Just a pity I cant afford it, but i've already been lucky enough to see rage etc live anyway...

Wink

I don`t care what anyone says about St.Anger (Metallica) it is a superb album. Purely because it was a snap shot of all the sh*t the band where going through after so many years at the top of their tree.

The problem is everyone expects another Master Of Puppets with each album. Can a band not experiment? especially when they are such good musicians.

Listen to the live rehearsal DVD that comes with the album, and you can hear the music in its raw form, without Bob Rocks terrible mixing. What the f*ck was he doing with that snare sound????

I hope they haven`t tried to relive MOP for the new album......but they probably have.

anyway, Metallica at wembley were as good as they ever were.

Rage would have found it difficult to write any new stuff....seeing as they have they have only just started talking again, but when your back catalogue is that good...who cares!

I`m sorry but personally I just don`t get bands like The Killers and their like. Its just a rehash of almost everything that has been written since Joy Division/The smiths......So what is the NEW music anywhere? I don`t hear much

F*ck it! I`m gonna go and play St.Anger now, really loud!! (My neighbours away ha ha)

It does exactly what it says on the tin!!

A wise old man once said "Anyone who has the capability to think about the shitty world they live in, should see RATM live at least once".Grin

Fuck, someone that agrees with me about St Anger!

That live rehearsal dvd is ace and so right about the sound.

Rage, what can you say. I saw Audioslave at Brixton a couple of years ago and when they played Killing in the Name it went Mental. Difference is, Chris Cornell was just singing a song. When Zach does it he will MEAN it.

Actually Tortilla do it and it is brilliant.

I think the line up is ace. And with more bands to add, I think it will get better.
