I think its a brilliant line up, so fuckin` what if its 90s!!!! Tell me another major band that sends out the messages that RATM do!

Whatever you think of Metallica they are brilliant live. James is a fantastic front man. I think the Sat is a bit lame. Too many same as same as `indie` bands. I`ll be watching the Manics. Been playing their early stuff. You forget how good they were. Heavily influenced by the Clash.......

Dizzy Rascal, Serj, Anti Flag.......superb!

On ebay  Fri (RATM) alone was going for around £160!!!!

I got 2 weekend tickets for £400. That was better than the ticket agencies, and you are covered by PayPal.

Got my tickets off Ticketmaster at 18.45 on the dot when they went on sale. My best mate was on the line at the same time as me and didn't get a sniff. Bought one of a dodgy site, lost his money but has now got on efor 229.00 off EBAY and is covered by PAYPAL.

When is someone going to demand that tickets are sold in the same way as Glastonbury or evne the Led Zep tickets.?

Had to go inot a ballot to get tickets to see the Arctics last april at the Astoria. At least it's fair.

RATM - awesome. QOTSA - awesome.

Will be a great weekend.

so much for supporting new music

Rob, I don`t understand? So you don`t listen to ground breaking, superb bands that say it like it is cos they`re old?

BUT you listen to bands that come off the same production line as a hundred similar sounding bands cos they`re new?

I better stop listening to Neil Young, Steve Earle, Smashing Pumpkins etc and tune into someone like the Killersenemy or whatever they are called. (Same tune, different whining voice).

RATM only split because they were tired of trying to get their message across to people who 1) Didn`t listen 2) didn`t understand 3)didn`t think it was relevant, so they carried on in their miserable lives. One day the penny dropped!!!

They burnt out.

With the way the world is at the moment, run by second rate politicians, supported by a dumb public, 90s bands are needed more than ever! As are 70s and 80s bands cos they make you think! (remember that?)

Mmmmm.......... let's see.

I Get the point about RATM, Manics and Metallica. Still all very good live though and I thought that is what part of it is all about.

But, QOTSA, Killers, The Enemy,  Slipknot, Avenged Sevenfold, Feeder, Bloc Party, Editors, Racontuers, Tenacious D and The Fratellis to name just a few.

Of course you are absolutely right, it's all very 90's.

Quite obviously nothing floats your boat about this bill. Your opinion.

Mines different. Must be my age. Miss my 90's music.

Herb, your comment made me snort my tea.Trouble is "is the" doesn't make sense.

slipknots last album was released in 2004 and are releasing an album this summer

metallica are releasing a new album this summer too and St. Anger was released in 2003

RATM are probably the only ones without a recent release... but they don't need one Wink with any luck tom morello will do some "the nightwatchman" stuff too

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say apart from faves and crowd pleasers they'll both be peddling their wares for their new albums, pimping their stuff like only americans can.... and for that... I canne wait!
