Probably Wix Wickens on keyboards. Macca on bass. Charlie Watts on drums.
Joe Walsh and Mick Taylor on joint guitar duties, and probably Bono on vocals.

Hmm, I'm probably gonna ostracise myself massively now... but I'd have:

Vocals : Corey Taylor and Chris cornell

Lead Guitar : Tom Morello

Rhythm Guitar: Dave Grohl

Bass: Danny Lohner

Drums: Danny Carey

Samples & programming : Trent Reznor

I would LOVE to see what that lot could come up with, not to everyones tastes granted, but to me, amazing

I'd love to hear

paul macca on the bass (and occasionally piano)

Ringo Starr on drums

George Harrison on guitar

and John Lennon on guitar

and I reckon if they all sing lead vocals occasionally and harmonise a lot, you should get quite a good result

I can't see the point in this i have not heard of half of these people, and it is a fact that great musicians do not always maketh great bands or great music either

If you havent heard of them, why do you presume they are great musicians incapable of writing great music?

Then again, Superhans lads in tool ARE great musicians that DO write great music...

Wizzy's list aint bad, either...Grin
