oh and incase anyone hadn't been there and was wondering, the roundhouse is an awesome venue, great sound, not too big, pricey on the booze front, but who wants to be drunk when you're seeing something as awesome as jimmy eat world?

Good man!

I can't wait for the new album!

I'm a newbie, only really been into them for the last month or so, but I've been enjoying Gibbards solo stuff for a few months now and The Postal Service album has just been a constant player since it came out....

Mate the postal service are one of my all time favourites, I love "district sleeps alone tonight" they are amazing, I really enjoyed styrofoam when i went to see J.E.W. too so got their album, tis nice music, I love the simplicity but somehow out of simplicity the postal service seem to make intricacy

I think Give Up will probably go down as one of the most important albums of the decade to be honest.

You look at all the stuff that has come out of it, I think it got people back in sort of dancey indie stuff, I really wonder if you'd have things like the Klaxons and I Was A Cub Scout without Give Up.  I know its easily my favourite album of recent years, thats for sure.  Its probably the only album I can listen to whatever mood I'm in.  Its amazing.

Have you tried the DNTEL stuff, Jimmy Tamborello's other thing?  Or Rilo Kiley?  What about Gibs solo stuff?:D

I recommend all three.

DTNEL and Rilo Kiley take some getting used to, but you can instantly see why they're so important to the Postal Service.

Ben Gibbard, its all covers, Death Cab and Postal, and its freakin' amazing!

If I can find some I'll hit you up with some links!
