Currently the frontwoman of a rock covers band called Broken that gigs throughout the southeast. I have been out gigging for four years. After a brief stint singing in London pubs as Whitney I decided to broaden my horizons and incorporate a wider range of material. I have recently left the function band The Counterfeit Notes who I played with for two years gaining much experience and confidence.
My solo sets range from modern rock and pop, to classic soul and country . I try to cater for a broad range of audiences and adapt my set as I am there to fit the occasion, whether it be a wedding/party or a pub gig. I like to talk with the audience and try to have a bit of banter with them. I usually do 2-3 45min sets although anything different can be arranged before hand. I also have lighting and a disco that comes with me.
I am a member of the musicians union and as such have public liabilty cover and all my equipment is PAT tested. Artists I cover range from Gladys Knight, Tina Turner and Elvis, to Bon Jovi, Pink and Amy Winehouse.
