Brown Sugar consist of Jimi James & Davey Luton from Dover. They play a wide variety of musically tastes and styles ranging from 60's - 90's rock & pop.
Jim has been playing guitar for 17 years and sites his main influences as Joe Satriani,Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page,his main equipment is a Fender Strat and his Maple guitar and uses All tube laney amps.
Jim has played in many local bands since the age of 13 and plays most styles of guitar. Jim also has some formal training with his grade 5 music theory which he has used within his music tuition over the years.
Dave has been singing & playing guitar for 20 years and lists his early influences as James Taylor, Cat steven & plays mainly acoustic guitar and sings lead vocals.His main equipment is his Handmade Flyde othello electro acoustic and yamaha 12 string. Dave has played in several small european tours and various cover bands in south east UK. |
