| Big Wednesday formed in 2002 and consist of Chris Rogers Lead vocals and guitar, Paul Smith lead guitar, Mike Bourner bass and vocals and Steve Peverley drums. This 4 piece rock band write and perform their own compositions as well as performing covers from Metallica through Red Hot Chillies to Incubus. They have appeared at The Leas Cliff Hall, Create Festival, Ashfords Battle of the Bands as well as many local Pub venues. They also played a couple of live accoustic sets on Ashfords local radio station. They released their first CD "Forgetting to Remember" earlier this year and are currently involved with Pie Factory Music recording a 3 track demo CD which includes their latest composition "Tommorrows Too Late" and this should be available early in the New Year. This, they hope will be heard by a wider audience and advance their musical career still further. Meanwhile they will continue gigging around all the local venues whenever they can. |
