Bambam formed around the summer of '96 from the remains of a 12-piece soul band. Having drafted in a guitarist to make 5, the original 4 members set about writing and recording some demos in a rock/funk style.
After a lot of rehearsing and not too many gigs, their keyboardist left the fold. With some booked dates looming, and purely out of necessity, they changed their sound to a more stripped down guitar-based feel so they could honour the shows. This went down a storm and with a few more line-up changes along the way they became what they are today. |
